CALENDAR , NEWS, AND UPDATE
The Ten Commandment Monument has been placed on the Green between the Old Regular Baptist Church and the McRoberts Community Center. This is a beautiful and meaningful addition to our community. Stop by and take a look. Below the Ten Commandment monument has been placed a gazebo for everyone to enjoy.
VALENTINE DINNER AND DANCE 
Would you like to have dinner and dance with that special someone for only 5 bucks? Yep, you can do it at the McRoberts Community Center on Tuesday February 14th. Come to the center and join in the fun.
Today, Aug. 9th, I witnessed the demolition of the Tom Biggs
Boarding House. The building was in dangerous condition
and a fire hazard. It was long past being repairable, but i
still had a sad feeling watching it being torn down.
The only two non-residential structures left in McRoberts,
that was built by Consolidated Coal , are the McRoberts
Baptist Church and the Bethel Community Church.

upkeep of the community center, recreation center, the
Joseph Sumpter Walking Track, youth ball court, and
other projects in our community. Funds to provide these
services are from festival, dinners, grants, and donations.
All members of the committee are volunteers and receive
no monetary pay. We are a tax-exempt organization and all
