CALENDAR , NEWS, AND UPDATE
Plans are underway for the purchase and erection of a
monument containing the Ten Commandments. The
monument will be placed in the medium between the Old
Regular Baptist Church and the Community Center. It is
time to return to the basics on which this great country
was established. The profits of the Strawberry Festival
will contribute to the purchase of this monument. Any
donations will be appreciated and can be mailed to P.O.
Box 488. Make your check or money order payable to
Committee For Better McRoberts and indicate for the
Commandment monument. This will be a black marble
beautiful monument.
Plans are underway for purchase and placement of play
equipment at the Joseph Sumpter Walking Track in the
Spring. The play area will be located near the lower
shelter.
The McRoberts Reunion Festival will be August 6th and
7th of 2010. Details of the festival will be posted at a
later date.
The services provided through our committee include
upkeep of the community center, recreation center, the
Joseph Sumpter Walking Track, youth ball court, and
other projects in our community. Funds to provide these
services are from festival, dinners, grants, and donations.
All members of the committee are volunteers and receive
no monetary pay. We are a tax-exempt organization and all

The next monthly meeting of the Committee For A Better
McRoberts will be on July 15th (third Thursday of each month ) at 6:00 P.M. This is a very important meeting and your attendance is urged. Please help your community grow.
